Here at Valley City Green Dot, we know that all it takes to change the world is little actions done by many individuals. By educating and empowering our community members, we know that we can make Valley City a safer place. The core of our efforts is to equip and empower our community members with the skills to end violence in Valley City. Through these small green dots, the skills we can learn like causing a distraction to deescalate a situation or sharing a bystander story on social media, we know we can end violence in Valley City.

At Valley City Green Dot, we are dedicated to educating and empowering our community members. Through our Bystander Trainings, community members spend four engaging and exciting hours learning and practicing skills they can use to address and prevent violence in our community. We know being comfortable and safe are extremely important, so we want you to learn skills that are realistic and doable for you. That way, we can all do the small things that can have a huge impact on our community.
At Overview Sessions, community members have a chance to become briefly acquainted with some of the skills we can use to end violence in our community. All the information is presented with some brainstorming time to help build up base knowledge about ways each person can do some small things that can have a big impact on our community. Join Valley City Green Dot for a 1 hour Overview session or have us come in to your workplace or community organization to learn a bit more and be more prepared for a Bystander Training!
